Frustration
It is very difficult to remain silent when we listen to the radio or watch the news and hear non-teachers speaking with authority about the profession we love; much of the information and rhetoric is foreign to us and thus unrecognisable from our daily perspective.
Sympathy
You poor teachers; nobody understands the level of work you do nor do they give you the benefit of the doubt. ‘You get so many holidays, stop complaining’ we hear.
Love
There are few instances that give as much pleasure as witnessing a student achieve; this, without doubt, is the currency of the education profession; this is our fuel, it is cyclical and it is extremely costly.
